Dave Munden has been drummer and vocalist since the band started out in 1958, and in this interview we’ll here him talk about the split with Brian Poole, the story behind the no1 hit Yellow River, and their superb recording of Words in the 80s.

Not only are all three original members going to be in the band, but their

If you look in the Record Collector price guide, Fire’s single Father’s Name
Is Dad books at nearly £300 as does their 1970 concept album The Magic
Shoemaker, which will be played live at these gigs for the first time ever.
I shall be going on Dec 1st.

Definitely a night for anoraks, but if the Father’s Name Is Dad single is
anything to go by, there should be some good music played.
