Hear this rare full interview with Dave Clark to coincide with the release of The Dave Clark Five The Hits CD
Hear the leader of The Troggs talk about the early days, the “sabotaging” of Wet Wet Wet’s version of Love Is All Around, and what he and the band were doing 30ft up in Times Square on New Years Eve 2006!

Not because The Searchers were difficult - far from it - they are the most obliging band you could wish to meet, but for the first half of 2007 they were touring in Australia, New Zealand, the UK (about 80 dates headlining the Solid Silver Sixties tour), Canada and the USA.
I finally caught up with them backstage in Weymouth, where Frank Allen generously chatted for nearly 30 minutes about their history, and what he’s up to today

So in 1962, The Tremeloes started recording for Decca, having their first hit, Twist And Shout in 1963. They continued having hits right through until the 70s.
Dave Munden has been drummer and vocalist since the band started out in 1958, and in this interview we’ll here him talk about the split with Brian Poole, the story behind the no1 hit Yellow River, and their superb recording of Words in the 80s.

Not only are all three original members going to be in the band, but their original producer will be doing the sound I believe.
If you look in the Record Collector price guide, Fire’s single Father’s Name Is Dad books at nearly £300 as does their 1970 concept album The Magic Shoemaker, which will be played live at these gigs for the first time ever. I shall be going on Dec 1st.
Definitely a night for anoraks, but if the Father’s Name Is Dad single is anything to go by, there should be some good music played.
